Internship:
At the end of the first year, a summer vacation is dedicated to an industry internship, a common practice in many management programs for gaining practical experience. This suggests a structured program with a balance of academic learning and practical exposure through internships.
Summer Internship:
- Purpose of the Internship: The internship offers students a valuable chance to gain practical work experience in their chosen area of focus, aligning with the program’s emphasis on practical, industry-oriented learning.
- Duration and Timing: The summer internship spans 8-10 weeks, taking place during the summer break at the end of the first semester. This timing enables students to apply their acquired knowledge and skills to real-world work situations.
- Industry Exposure: Placing students in top organizations across diverse industries ensures exposure to varied working environments. This exposure is crucial for students to comprehend industry dynamics, challenges, and best practices.
- Mandatory Completion: Emphasizing the importance of hands-on experience, no student is admitted to the second year of the program without completing the summer internship. This underscores the program’s belief that practical exposure is integral to the overall learning journey.
